Last year, in 2018, I decided to complete my canoe journey down the River Thames in the UK from a point up river from where I had to stop in 2017. These maps show the path of the river as it is located in England and a more detailed picture of the river’s meandering across southern England. Why the Thames? Because at my age to paddle the length of the Saskatchewan River from the Rockies to the Hudson’s Bay would be foolhardy. Not that I wouldn’t like to do it.
