For those of you who don’t already know me, my name is David Hatto. On August 31, 2014 my granddaughter, Hazel, died in her sleep from SIDS, which is one of the causes listed under SUID or Sudden Unexpected Infant Death. As a result of the affects that Hazel’s death had on everybody who knew her I decided to embark on a series of adventures in her memory for three purposes: to help me come to terms with her death, to raise awareness about SIDS and to raise money for my daughter-in-law’s society for helping grieving mothers share their grief with fellow grieving mothers. The society is called Hazel’s Heroes so I became Hazel’s helper.
